Race 3 Glen 333km

Race 3 sent 465 pigeons from 110 fanciers from Glen, Free State to Carnival Lofts in Heidelberg, Gauteng, over 333km on 30 July 2026.

Liberation brought bitter cold (1°C-3°C), a light 5-8km/h south-westerly, and clear skies. By the Kroonstad midpoint, temperatures had risen to 9°C-11°C as the wind strengthened into a 12-16km/h tailwind, powering the pace home. Arrival conditions in Heidelberg were mild (14°C-16°C), mostly clear, with a gentle 8-10km/h south-westerly easing the birds in.
