The Final Race brought Diaz One Loft's season to a close with a 635km race from Greytown, KwaZulu-Natal, to the loft's home at Bushmans River Mouth in the Eastern Cape, 269 pigeons went to the baskets, entered by 99 fanciers.

Birds were liberated into a cool, crisp Greytown morning, with early fog over the Natal Midlands interior lifting quickly to clear skies. Temperatures sat at 9-11°C under light-to-moderate northerly to north-easterly winds of 10-15km/h. By the Mthatha/Transkei midpoint, conditions held fine and settled: 18-20°C, with light and variable north-westerly to westerly cross-winds of 8-12km/h under mostly clear skies. The final leg toward Bushmans River Mouth turned cooler and coastal, temperatures dropping to 16-17°C as a moderate-to-fresh south-westerly breeze of 20-28km/h built into a head-to-crosswind on the descent toward the coast, skies turning partly cloudy to cloudy with patchy fog rolling into the river valleys.

Kruger & Sons claimed the win at 1269.12 m/min with 'Achiever', leading Diaz One Loft's Final Race home. Henry Quirk followed in 2nd with 'Make It Sweet'. Webster Lofts claimed 3rd with 'Ill Show You *MR', with Camelot Hokke close behind in 4th with 'Rav 344306'. Webster Lofts took 5th with 'Bet On Me MR', with Stan Farren following again in 6th with 'Rosie'. Henry Quirk came home in 7th with 'Awake', with KDK Racing & Joe Gomes 2 (US) in 8th with 'Joe 1555'.
