Genetics Behind The Winner
Jannie Lategan topped the podium in Race 1 with a fantastic win! His winning pigeon ZA25-LATEGAN-118 is bred out of the Gaby Vandenabeele lines crossed with the famous Tomlock Lines.
A few years back, Jannie acquired a few youngbirds from Bernard Loots (Kalahari Loots), also a very successful fancier with many top achievements in One Loft races across South Africa. The sire to the race 1 winner for Jannie was among the kit of youngsters he acquired from Bernard and turned out to be a super racer himself, he is off the Gaby Vandenabeele lines. The dam to race 1 winner is a pure Tomlock hen!
